Dave Simon, M.D., is a self-centered, money-hungry, atheistic doctor who neglects his wife and two children. He takes his horse to ride in a remote area on the Arizona desert. When they are caught in a shale slide, Dave has a concussion and the horse breaks a leg. Near death from heat stroke, Dave finds a spring that saves his life.
